Your day of abseiling action starts out with a full briefing from an experienced instructor on the safety of solid ground. After your briefing you'll be secured in your harness and the instructor will run through some of the techniques you'll need as you lower yourself down the rock face.
Once you've mastered the basics of abseiling the adrenalin will really start to kick in, as you get up close and personal with the rock-face and start your descent. Your instructor will be on hand to reassure you as make your way back to terra firma, they'll also be in control of a second rope. So all you have to do is lean back take in the view and enjoy your descent!

Dress for the weather, old, loose fitting clothes are ideal. Boots or trainers with a good grip are essential. If it's raining bring a spare set of clothes to change into.

This is a half day experience so expect around 3-4 hours of abseiling.

Number of people

Abseilers are generally taken out in groups of 8. However venues can take more people on request.

Spectators are welcome to watch at most venues but please double check before booking.
