Your testing clay pigeon shoot starts with a full safety briefing from an experienced instructor, who will then issue you with your safety equipment. Standard safety equipment includes protective goggles and ear defenders.
Once you're fully kitted out with safety equipment you'll be given detailed instruction on how to use the guns safely and effectively. The instructor will then give you some expert tips to make sure you're blasting the clays out of the sky in no time. On your call the first clay will be fired and all you have to do is blow it to smithereens!

Participant guidelines

You don't need any experience or equipment to take part. Minimum age for this activity is dependant on individual venue requirement however most will welcome children. Not suitable for pregnant women.

General availability

Excellent availability throughout the year on both weekends and weekdays for this activity. Some venues have minimum number requirements to place a booking, please check your preferred location for details.

Weather

Clay pigeon shooting is available all year. In the case of severe weather conditions your instructor will contact you if it necessary to postpone.

What to wear

Dress according to the weather noting that you will be outdoors for your experience.

Duration

Please allow an hour for a 25 clay shoot.

Number of people

If you are an individual or a small group you may be with other people during instruction. Some venues offer 1 to 1 instruction if you prefer to have you experience by yourself.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome at all venues.
