Your day racing down crisp, snow covered slopes starts with quick change into your snow gear before an experienced instructor gives you a full safety briefing.
Once you've made your way onto the snow you'll be given an introductory lesson that will cover all the basics such as how to your secure yourself to your board as well as how to stop and turn. If you're an experienced boarder you can always skip this part and take straight to the slopes to fine tune your technique with the help of the instructor.

Participant guidelines

Min age of 17 at majority of locations. Participants need to be physically fit and able to take part. Not suitable if pregnant or if suffering from spinal or back problems.

General availability

Available to book throughout the week depending on availability. Opening hours are usually from 10am to 8pm. Please check this at specific location.

Weather

Snowboarding centres are mostly indoors and are not effected by weather. If at an outdoor location heavy wind and rain could hamper the activity.

What to wear

Wear warm layers, a few. Waterproof top and bottoms if you can. All equipment will be provided but you must bring gloves, or these can usually be purchased on the day in most locations. Changing rooms and lockers are available.

Duration

Events usually last around 2 hours including a 10 minutes safety briefing.

Number of people

Our qualified instructors can take up to 6 students in a lessons at 1 time.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome to come along. The centers all have excellent refreshment facilities.
