Your day of wet and wild windsurfing action starts with a full safety briefing from an experienced instructor, before you squeeze into your wetsuit and get ready to take to the water.
After your quick change you'll get your hands on your board and cover the basics of how to stay upright and steer whilst on the safety of dry land! Starting off in shallow water you'll have the chance to build your board confidence and get used up being dumped into the water, but after those first few wipeouts you'll be ready to head into deeper water to put what you've learnt to the test.

Participant guidelines

Windsurfing can be done from the age of eight upwards, however some locations require a higher minimum age so please confirm this when booking. Participants need to be fit and healthy as windsurfing is a very physical activity. Not suitable for pregnant women or anybody suffering with back or spinal problems.

General availability

Lessons take place at weekends and usually only run through the summer months.

Weather

Not suitable in snow, heavy wind or torrential rain.

What to wear

Wetsuits are provided so all you need to bring is a towel, a swimsuit and a spare set of clothes to change into.

This experience lasts approximately 2 hours but can vary, please double check before booking.
